You may have already figured this out by now, but in the middle of the day, clients are usually busy doing their thing, my list can’t be tended to until much later, and my phone is suspiciously silent. So, I walk away, turn my phone volume up, and escape to the quiet of my bed. I typically get about 3 hours of peace and quiet and then get back to work. My clients are usually none the wiser unless they have daily work that I do for them. It’s something they all understand because they have all witnessed my late-night e-mails and asked them how I could possibly be working all the time. It’s simple, I’m not. I get sleep where I can get it.
